A Day at the Toy Store: The Cutest Conversation Ever

Just Buy Some Then!

When my daughter was around 4 years old, I took her to a toy store in Aberdeen Centre in Richmond. Like any kid in a toy store, she was super excited and ran around with her little brother. One thing that really caught her eye was a Pokémon toy (I think it was a Mewtwo? I actually don't know Pokémon that well, I was too old when it came out so I never got into it), and boy was it expensive, outrageously so.

When I saw the price tag, I had to be the responsible parent and told her, “I don’t have enough money for that.” Besides, my kids get bored of most toys in days. It was definitely not worth the money.

What happened next was the cutest thing ever. She turned to me with the most exasperated look, as if I clearly didn’t understand the simplest thing, and said, “Well, why don’t you just buy some more money then?”

I couldn’t help but laugh. There's just something so innocent and pure about it.
